Departments of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine (Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture) of each province, autonomous region and municipality directly under the Central Government (bureaus, commissions, offices), Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau:
Recently, China ’s Veterinary Drug Supervision Institute and Chongqing ’s 14 provincial veterinary drug inspection agencies have reported 81 batches of fake veterinary drugs related to veterinary drug supervision and sampling in March 2015 and confirmed by sampling. Among them, 5 illegal veterinary drug manufacturers (Annex 1) involved 5 batches of fake veterinary drugs (Annex 2); 76 batches of suspected fake veterinary drugs (Annex 3) confirmed by legal veterinary drug manufacturers that were not produced by the company are now announced. Veterinary administrative departments at all levels are requested to organize investigations and punishments in accordance with the provisions of the Notice on Heavily Punishing Veterinary Drugs (Ministry of Agriculture Announcement No. 2071) and the following requirements.
First, the illegal veterinary drug manufacturers listed in Annex 1 shall file a case for investigation and destroy the fake dens and distribution channels.
Twenty-two fake veterinary drugs listed in Annex 2 and suspected fake veterinary drugs listed in Annex 3 shall be filed for investigation, organized for liquidation and destruction, and punished according to law to veterinary drug operating units.
Thirty-three of the nominal veterinary drug manufacturers listed in Annex 3 shall promptly organize inspections, and if they are found to be suspected of false veterinary drugs listed in Annex 3, they shall be severely punished in accordance with law.
